Stockstats is a free, educational web tool that displays publicly available historical price data for stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Its sole purpose is to help users visualise long-term market context — particularly to place recent price moves into a broader historical perspective.

Data accuracy and limitations

Market data is sourced from Yahoo Finance via its publicly available API. Stockstats has no affiliation with Yahoo Finance or Verizon Media. Data may be delayed, incomplete, adjusted, or otherwise inaccurate.

• Price data is split-adjusted but does not include dividend reinvestment (unless stated).
• Drawdown calculations are approximate and based on the available historical dataset.
• Exchange rates are not applied — prices are shown in the currency reported by Yahoo Finance.
• Not all securities are supported; data availability depends on Yahoo Finance's coverage.

Stockstats makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data displayed.

No personalisation

Stockstats does not collect, store, or use any information about your personal financial situation, objectives, or investment history. All data shown is generic and applies to the selected security only. Nothing presented should be interpreted as being tailored to your circumstances.

Privacy

Stockstats does not collect personally identifiable information. The tool stores a single flag in your browser's local storage to remember that you have acknowledged this disclaimer. No data is transmitted to any third party by Stockstats.

Yahoo Finance may independently collect data when your browser loads market data via its API. Please refer to Yahoo's privacy policy for details.

Limitation of liability
